A first: Somerset Memories

I'm celebrating a milestone today. My first publication in Somerset Memories. This is probably the "artsiest" scrapbooking magazine out there. Emphasis on artistic techniques, layering, paint, fabric and overall vintage vibe. I have submitted a few digital layouts that fit this scrapbooking style and one of them made the cut!

It was a layout I scrapped of my 37th birthday. I used an iPhone pic for it and the CameraBag app to give it a color-processed look.

One thing I like about the magazine is that they print alongside with your layout, the inspiration behind the page in my own words. And in the back, there is a longer description of how I made the layout - step-by-step.
