Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! We definitely did! We had a small celebration at our home with one of my good friend's family. She has kids the same age as Sofia and Zara and they got along so well. Lots of food, balloons (of the rocket, water and fireworks variety), kiddie pool, sprinklers, mojitos, sunny weather and good conversation. Then we finished the night at a fireworks show just 10 minutes from our house. Thanks to my friend's advice, we got a nice parking spot without any long lines to leave the park.
I am now looking forward to a lazy summer day, spent recovering from the week's party prep and the day itself! Fun but tiring! Happy 5th!
